i seem to be blogging every post one day late, hahaha.. it might be kinda confusing for my readers i guess? i'll try to blog on the exact day, but the problem is.. i reach home late.. or that there is like countless photos to resize before i start blogging so i end up taking more time?

the same goes for this post, which was actually meant for wednesday! :D

uncle larry came to fetch us to the cathy for lunch~

was on the bus on the way home when i received a call from grace and kim, they were at cine.

wanted to go home as i had flu :/ but in the end, temptation striked and off jean and i went to meet them at cine!

bought the tickets of four christmases for 940pm so we had 3hrs to spare before the show actually starts~

at level5 cine, we spotted bolt!

walked to taka to have dinner since there's nothing much at cine~

along the way~

out reflection in the mirror in the lift, and we were sitting on the benches opposite the lift!

tuesday morning with family at botanical gardens~

mom dug me up and i fell back asleep! too early le lah! plus im lazy.. :/

but its good, to breathe fresh air and be out in the open apart from being cooped up at home or at the malls~

a change of environment is good :D plus its newly renovated~

but one thing sad abt it is.. it feels foreign, yeah. after the renovations, everything feels so.. concrete? so distant? yeah, if u get what i mean..

anyway, we took pictures! hahaha :D

no matter how pretty things are.. they do fade with time, just like humans. us.

jas woke up early to meet darren, tedson, meixuan and kenkhoon for pool~ reached too early though :/ sat around macs.. and we were the first to enter the pool hall, but we got the table nearest to the toilet. bad feng shui i tell you. hahahaha, okay dont blame the toilet, blame my lousy playing!

left around two to meet mom and the rest at bishan. cabbed there and the uncle made one big round lah! @#$%^&*&^% the uncle think i dont know arh.. tsk! just that i was being nice, but my pocket isnt feeling nice at all!

walked around and got some clothes for the taiwan trip, i need long sleeves~

went to try on work wear for fun! hahaha we had a good laugh in the changing room!

had subway~ and jean treated us to snow ice! current favourite food apart from subway and popcorn! hahaha

dad came and off we went for furniture shopping at dad's friend shop (:

today we are gonna go to bras besar popular with a group of needy students~

dad's company sponsored each child with 50bucks to buy stuff and the lion's club organised the activity for us~

next uppppppppp~ prom post!

held at hilton, reached at 6pm but the thing started at around 8pm?

should have gone to meet the herdies first!

some of them came over my huse to stay for the night coz post prom at butter factory was full house~ ladies night though, what a pity..

bought asaki from 7-11, i like! then tedson got really high and started laughing for no reason~ we deduced he was drunk.. and ken khoon was trying to act drunk. hahaha

funny to watch the both of them act like morons~ opps.

stayed up to play cards till 7am then went macs for breakfast. enjoyed myself! :D

then went to dad's exhibition with darren and shiyuan~ nice of them to accompany me! pooled afterwards! i won both of them in 9ball:D but darren is still the ultimate pro!

kinda dont wana recall the ordeal we've been through~

so for those who wana know what happened, just read her post okay?

" I am finally back in Singapore. =))

The way home was a nightmare. And words cant even describe the horror I felt. Whatever I say here gotta be multiplied by at least 100 times worse.

People say the conditions at blah blah country's airport's terrible. I would say, try U-tapao (the Thai military airbase that we used to get out of Bangkok), and you would think that the rest of the world's airports are luxurious.

Woke up at 3am on Saturday to make our way to the U-tapao airport that is located at Pattaya, a few hours away.

The roads to the airport was surprisingly smooth. The day was freezing (yeah, freezing in Thailand), while we all dozed on the bus.

Reached the airport at 630am, in order to check in for a 11am flight. More than sufficient time one would say.

Wrong.

We were only allowed to start checking in our stuff at 9am for the 11am flight. Normal, one would say.

Wrong.

Starting to queue at 9am, and the people just suddenly started piling into the airport. A tiny airport that is about the size of the SBS lobby, with only one X-ray machine and 4 counters. One counter for the Malaysian Air flight that we were on. One for Cathay Pacific to Hong Kong. And another two to who knows where.

And so, started the pushing, the shoving, the cutting queue, tempers flaring as the Ah Tiongs, Indian nationals, ang mohs tried to cut our queue, luggage being rolled over our toes, air gotten increasingly stagnant as thousands are breathing out carbon dioxide.

There we were, trying to prevent people from cutting queue, yelling at those that attempt to do so, hungry 'cause we didnt have anything since 4am, protecting our decency, and looking after our luggage as we queued for the check-in.

11am came and past. We only moved less than 3metres towards the check in counter, thanks to those Ah Tiongs, Indian nationals, and ang mohs that cut our queue.

You would expact an ang moh to be more civilized. Singaporeans? Supposed to be kiasu right? But hell no. In that kinda situations, Singaporeans are the ones that were civilized. The Ah Tiongs and Indian nationals just barge their way through using force. Ang Mohs? They bluffed their way through, pretending to direct traffic, while in actual fact, they were cutting queue.

This is such a long dreary post, and everytime I retell this to someone, I'm like reliving the terror of being squashed by so many people. The stuffiness, the angry, the hunger, the shock at how barbaric people can get.

And so, finally, at 3pm, we finally managed to check our luggage in.

Rested for awhile, before the shoving began again as we tried to make our way to the immigrations.

It was so utterly packed. It's worse than Singapore MRT during peak hours, Japan's packed bullet trains and Bangalore trains with people overflooding outta the train combined.

The Myanmar people didnt care who they were shoving, be it old, or young, or whatever. The Arabs too.

Ay, no matter how much I type, it's just gonna be the repeated shovings, stuffiness, lack of oxygen, uncivilized people, etc etc.

And so, we tried to get through to the immigrations. You know the part where the police officer at Changi airport would check your passport and boarding pass at the glass doors before letting you through to the immigrations where someone would be sitting at the pink tall counter, stamping your passport, as your family and friends wiped away tears of reluctance of seeing you leave etc?

Yeah, we were stuck at the place where the family and relatives would be standing. Trying to get pass the glass door. Instead of police officers, there were some females from the airport, shoving against the crowd, only letting those whose flights are gonna take off soon through the gates.

I got through the gates via trickery.

Or rather, I faked lost.

Going towards the gates (as some kind Malaysian guy shoved me and Grass to the glass door to help us get through), the stupid woman stopped me saying that my flight isnt due to take off yet.

Her: "No no. Your flight not yet. LTU ONLY!! LTU ONLY!!" (LTU is some flight to God knows where)

Me: "But I'm stranded here! My Mom has gone through and I'm still here!!"

She didnt get it. This happened like 5 times with her repeating that "LTU ONLY!! LTU ONLY!!" and me yelling that "I'M STRANDED HERE!! MY MOM HAS GONE THROUGH THE GATES!!" when it finally penetrated through her skull and asked:

"You alone?"

And so I grabbed Grass' arm and yelled: "No! With my sister!!!"

And she finally relented and let me and Grass through.

Phew.

But apparently my Dad, Jo Yee, Jas, Allan they all were still stuck behind the gates, and they were smashed against the glass walls so badly that the glass walls were crackling under the stress, as if they were ready to shatter anytime.

Sigh.

Anyway, Grass and I cleared the immigrations without any events. It was only till the part after the immigration whereby one has to put the bags through the X-ray machine, and walk under the sensor whereby this guy stopped us yet again.

"LTU ONLY!! LTU ONLY!!"

So I tried the trick of my Mom's pass the immigrations already blah blah.

But it didnt work.

Freak.

Having to change strategy, I yelled that my bags have already gone through, and I'm still stuck here without my stuff, before me and Grass finally made it through again.

It was really that terrible.

And so, we waited for our flight. Seeing people board SIA plane, going back to Singapore straight while we have to wait for our Malaysian Airline plane. We finally boarded the plane at 6.30pm. And the plane only took off at 8pm.

Thus leading to us missing the connecting flight from KL to SG at 10.30pm.

Spent the night sleeping on the lounge chair in the KL international airport, before taking the 8.05am flight back to Singapore.

Sigh.

It was such a trauma. The second major incident of my life. And I had doubts of seeing my bed, cuddling my pillows again.

But well, it's over. And I'm just thankful to be back in Singapore again. "

Kinda bored! Nothing much to do apart from listening to my ipod.. and playing silly games with my brother. Hahaha.

No internet connection on the plane! I thought have loh! So have to type in Microsoft word first! Haha. The plane is kinda.. squeezy?? Imagine. I have trouble crossing my legs. Yeah. That’s how cramped up it is inside here! Plus.. it isn’t that clean also :/ OH YAH!! The toilet has no lock!! Hahaha I didnt use it, its my brother who told me. So they have to station an air stewardess outside to look after. Damn weird lahhh.

Ohhh and something else. Pardon me, I doubt im pretty, but their stewardess are kinda.. not pretty at all?? Opps. Okay, budget airline. Cant expect much. Haha. And and, I nearly forgot! The budget terminal.. is even smaller than normal bus terminal.. budget really that budget mah?! We only pay a little bit less what!
Landing soon I think? Im not sure? Haha

The situation in Bangkok is kinda chaotic now. Hope that everything goes fine for us! :D

Ride wasn’t as bad or bumpy as what I thought it would be! Landing was okay!
Waited for the coach for freakinggg long coz they got the time wrong, my legs are hurting now!

One hour ride to the serviced apartments~ and thus here I am blogging again on the boring bus trip! Hope there’s like a lot of stuff for me to buy back! :D

Heard that the bird’s nest and sharksfin here is good! Shall go check it out!

WHEEEEEEEEEEE~ IM BACK TO BLOG AGAIN!

4.15am now, im supposed to be sleeping but..

SINCE ITS MY BIRTHDAY, I SHALL STAY UP LATE! or shud i say, stay up early?!

HAHAHAHAHA

met grace for klunch, and we had a GREAT time singing! or rather, acting crazy! hahaha.

we walked from cine to plaza sin (not that far actually), we were quite worried when we just started walking, it seemed endless! haha oh, and on the way we passed by the bah kua shop and we came up with something. im the unmarinated plain bah kua and she's the grilled and chao ta one! those who know both of us will know why!

grace left early for her friend's bbq so i went to plazasin to walk around~ kinda boring shopping alone though:/ wanted to buy my younger cousin's present but plaza sin dont seem like a good place to shop?

headed to bugis instead and i managed to get the presents! (: my legs ached like mad from all the walking!

sat down at some hk cafe in bugis street and the bored me started writing!

i tried to recall, there was'nt any trace
i could'nt even picture your smiling face
its over, there's no use of me keeping pace

somehow, or somewhat, everything seemed to flood back again
it was what i treated with brine, heart-wrenching disdain
this time however, i had a laugh, shrugged it off without pain

okay, now on to friday night~

went to traders hotel for buffet! totally clash with my plan to loose weight! hhaha, but i try to eat a litle as i could.. just a small portion of everything! which adds up to actually ALOT!

im blogging today with a totally different mood, i cant say that im really really happy, but im really really glad(:

coz now deep down, i know that we havent changed. maybe its just coz of our hectic lifestyles? maybe its just exams-madness? ive been through it, i know~

finally coming back to blog again, just a single post, before i really disappear for my exams. i dont know where i can type this. i just hope she would see this. maybe she wont.. even care.

hais. these few weeks.. or can i say months, has been really torturous. mentally. somehow i feel really tired. dont wana think abt it. grace asked if im escaping from something.

not that. but i just dont know how to face it. thinking abt the things you did. indeed really made my heartbreak. its not your fault. i know. ive been through all this angst and stuff. maybe its me who've caused this major i-dont-know-you-anymore between us. yeah. i guess it me.

but ive been trying. trying really hard. forgoing alot of stuff. trying to find the remedy these few weeks. trying to make myself appear livelier, happier, chirpier in your presence. sometimes i act like a fool.. only to be brushed off. i dont know anymore. ive been to extremes. how much more can i go? how much more can i take before i finally break?

sleepless nights. yeah. both you and me. staying up. watching you sleep. and suddenly, i realised. i dont know you anymore. i look at you, cold, expressionless, devioid of any warmth towards me. and deep down inside, my heart cries. cry for the fact that ive lost you. lost the one who has been the closet to me, all this while.

i know i havent been blogging for like 2 weeks, some of you might have wondered if ive abandoned my blog or something,

FRET NOT, IM BACK! been busy shifting house the past week. super tiring and the packing and unpacking is so getting on my nerves. shifted to bukit timah temporarily, by october i hope we will be at our new house in serangoon. the 1&ahalf hour bus ride to school is getting on nerves too. ohh anyone living in bukit timah and wana share cab to school? our(my bro & i) cab fare is around 30 bucks, so the more people we get the lesser we all have to pay! anyone??

lol but i dont know when my next post will be coz im like busy-up-to-my-neck and yet i keep procrastinating, OH WELL. after this post im gonna do my work okay!

i havent been bloggin for more than a week, which explains why i TOTALLY FORGOT MY PASSWORD.

i tried almost every password i know of, but still..

GOSH. i think the whole week of preparing and shopping had really made me braindead.

so the smart me resetted my password. i hope i dont forget.

i shall start with the 15th of nov since its my birthday(:

went to school for an hour of maths(yes i know it sounds damn sad)

then i started the day with singing at kbox with mom and jean, sang till my throat went really sore.

shopped around marina square for a while and managed to get mascarra ive been looking for so long.

then we went to bugis to shop and do nails. haha, i shall let my nails be pampered once in a while(:

i did a french and jean got ladybirds on hers!

then i got really really sick so we had to go home.

i spent half of my birthday lying in bed but nevertheless, i had fun!

16th of nov CLASS CHALET

i had econs lecture at 9, slept at like 3am the night before so i was nodding throughout.

went home and slept through before leaving for bras besar(correct spelling?)to get materials for jean's card.

met yihui and left for downtown east for class chalet, the journey seemed very short maybe coz we were talking throughout

played a little pool before we ta-paued subway back to the chalet for dinner.

didnt feel well so i decided not to stay, least i fall sick on my party.

in the end, i stayed up till 3am to do jean's card. GOSH!

17th nov- PARTY TIME!

woke up near noon and rushed out to far east to shop for clothes

then to bugis again before heading back home to help decorate the place

i think i shall stop here, its like 1am and i dont really feel well still.

thur i went for kbox with kim jie, sang for 4andahalf hours straight.

this shall be a really random post coz its like 12.30am and i have like nothing much to do, apart from studying and yes, dreaded lit assignment.

left school at like 10.30am today as reading programme(assembly) was cancelled as the teachers had an urgent meeting.

parents came to pic me from school and i went for my chinese massage by a professor from taiwan who has superb skills.

but it tickled so much that i couldnt help laughing really loudly and shrieking in the process. the people around me were like laughing with me, or should i say at me? HAHA.

went out with dad and his financial controller for lunch at some boutique hotel. the food there is really refreshing- simple but it seems to be able to capture the very essence of every dish.

the sharks fin soup was like really thick(not because of the starch im sure though)and there were like huge countable pieces of sharks fin as compared to the measly amount you get from other restaurants:)

i ate till i was like damn full.
from the appetizers to the main dishes to the dessert, it was worth every inch of my time sitting in such comfortable ambience even though i was like really tired.

next we proceeded to swisshotel to get dad's watch. we decided to stick within the budget but after the persuasions and recommendations, we gave in to a Jean-Mairet & Gillman which is like one fifth of the price of a toyota suv.

reached home at around 4 and i slept till 8.

ive got a geog test on friday! RAHHHHHH. but i like geog:)

HAPPY NATIONAL DAY EVERYONE!

im glad coz today's like a public holiday after a school day off yesterday and tomorrow im gonna get another day off.

anyway, went for breakfast at ya kun at parkway before visiting mont blanc to get dad's early birthday gift.

reached home slightly after lunch and i pigged out till like 3, waking up to my mom's "HURRY JAS! WE HAVE TO REACH THE HOTEL BY 4!!"

my 2nd aunt booked two rooms at the oriental hotel and invited us to spend the day there.

we had a clear view of the stage of the national day parade from the 17th floor:)

2 rooms from us was a room full of policemen and high ranking officials. i guess thats there so called "base" coz they need to monitor the whole area from above.

damn cool coz they were walking about.

went to sch for nationalday celebration and it didnt exactly turn out that well.

it was messy.
it was full of technical problems.
it makes people go off to sleep during the various boring dances.
& it feels like its a NEW YEAR celebration instead.

but i will give two thumbs up for the spontaneous and ever-ready mcs.
they did the best they could in such a messy situation.

YAY:)

after that shiyuan came to my house to change coz we're gonna meet some ppl from the class to play pool after their chemistry lecture.

managed to find the place after asking around for directions.

the place was newly opened and the cues and tables were like S-M-O-O-T-H!

I LIKE!

and the place was like bright and well-airconditioned, plus the fact that there were like less than 10 tables hence it wasnt as noisy or rowdy as compared to some other places.

played for like 3 hours straight and darren was like WOAH damn pro O_o

the only bad thing was that i scrapped some skin off my finger when i accidentally brushed past the edge of the pool table.

the rest is all good:)

went to make a bouquet of flowers before going to JUMBO at the country club for my grandparent's 57th wedding anniversary.

i wouldnt say it turned out well. there was like some minor unhappiness and conflicts.

problems with seating arrangements. cannot help it coz i couldnt say much and some *censored* adult scolded me for chopping seats, which practically spoilt my mood for the rest of my evening.

yea, typical of a really big family squashed into 2 tables.

17 PEOPLE A TABLE coz the rest of the vip rooms were booked,
i dont like it one bit.

COZ I WAS ASLEEP.

woke up at like 8 plus to cancel my tuition and in an attempt to wake up(wasnt really feeling well) and get ready to go later, i plopped down on the sofa and slept as if i hadnt been sleeping for like a week.

and woke up at like 1PM.

im in the library now rushing geog graded assignment.

its quite appalling that i could still think about blogging at this rather unsuitable time but hey, geog is rather DULL.

i wanted to attend computing tutorial with shiyuan earlier.

the teacher according to her was supposedly: old, forgetful("im sure he wont recognise you!")& rather nice and friendly.

WRONG SHIT OKAY.

he was like glaring at me from above his spects when i tried to sneak to the back row of computers.

"EH, WHY ARE YOU HERE?"

(paused to think as i didnt know i would be discovered)

"can i sit in?"
(in a supposed meek and im-trying-to-act-pitiful voice)

"NO, STUDENTS WHO DONT TAKE THIS ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO JOIN THE CLASS."

........ i literally died on the spot.

i was momentarily stunned by the fact that shiyuan said he was a NICE OLD MAN.

luckily i had the sense to mumble a quick sorry before hurrying out

THE EYES OF THOSE THERE WERE LIKE PRACTICALLY BURNING INTO MY SKIN.

i felt like a complete DORK.
SHEESH.

1. dont do things that are uncalled for.

3. you have to be patient with computing techers

during lit lesson today miss victor asked us to share on guilt and its relation to great expectations(a novel).

i said "guilt makes one retreat from the outside world, makes one afraid of reality"

i guess this is like fairly true. ive been hiding from guilt even of the slightest things and yea, im afraid of the reality it brings.

i tend to shrink away from my responsibilities.

i feel guilty when i see the less fortunate, like there was this older lady in her mid 50s who was sitting next to me at the hawker centre nibbling at her mixed rice.

she looked like she had her happiness and soul sucked out of her. her eyes were like empty.

then my heart felt like a pang of guilt. like she should deserve more than her plight now no matter what wrong she had commited(i adhere to the you-are-what-you-do-theory)

tsk. hate this kind of unpredictable feeling. but anyways, switch topic!

gp test today was rather ridiculous. i had fun conjuring nonsensical statements which im sure many of you will have a good laugh after reading my paper.

i was going like 'HA-HA-HA what on earth is this man!?!? its not even a proper paper!'

oh anyway,
my hororscope today reads:

my com is so screwed.

it hangs at like every 2 mins.

and as a result. i cant do my geog rock cycle.

much as i want to coz apart from that(being easier)the rest of the homework i have are killer-tutorials which i have like no intention to lay hands on them.

ive got a blocked nose. been lamenting too much of my un-fulfilled life.

school kinda suck right now.

i dont really know how to BLAH BLAH BLAH..
